Hong Kong: phát hiện chất gây dị ứng trong mặt nạ dưỡng da

Ngày 21-7, Ủy ban người tiêu dùng Hong Kong đã kiểm tra và phát hiện 17 loại mặt nạ dưỡng da có chứa chất bảo quản axit hydroxybenzoic có thể gây dị ứng da.

Các sản phẩm này đang được bày bán trên khắp thị trường Hong Kong với giá từ 30-400 đôla Hong Kong. Theo nhà chức trách, cả các nhãn hiệu mỹ phẩm danh tiếng như Chanel, L’Oreal, Body Shop, Biotherm, Watsons... cũng nằm trong danh sách này. Trong đó sản phẩm mặt nạ dưỡng ẩm mang nhãn hiệu Kiehl’s có hàm lượng chất bảo quản cao nhất.

Trong khi đó, các công ty sản xuất lại lên tiếng khẳng định những sản phẩm này tuy có chứa chất bảo quản axit hydroxybenzoic nhưng hàm lượng vẫn nằm trong mức độ cho phép, tức không vượt quá 0,4%.

Hong Kong chưa có những quy định về tiêu chuẩn hàm lượng chất bảo quản. Nhưng thông báo của Ủy ban người tiêu dùng Hong Kong có tác dụng khuyến cáo người tiêu dùng, đặc biệt là những người có làn da nhạy cảm, tránh các loại mặt nạ dưỡng da có hàm lượng chất bảo quản vượt trên ngưỡng 0,4%.
